Deepana-Pachana
It is basically where herbal decoctions are orally administered to the patients to help enhance digestion and liquify toxic metabolites which can be eliminated from the body by doing Panchakarma therapies.
Snehana
According to the condition and nature of each patient’s disease, suitable medicated ghee is administered orally for a period of 3 to 7 days that helps impair the dosha. Abhyanga or medicated massages are also performed as a part of administering fats internally and externally.
Swedana
Swedana is heat-induced perspiration to a human body. Applying heat to the human body helps liquify the impaired doshas and bring them to the gastro-intestinal tracts which can get eliminated through various panchakarma treatments.
Pradhana Karma (Main Treatments)
Vamana (Emesis)
In this treatment, herbal emetics are orally induced to help remove the impaired doshas from the body, especially Kabha doshas.
Virechana (Purging)
An excess amount of pitta in one’s gall bladder, liver or small intestine might result in several disorders including rashes, skin inflammation, acne, chronic attacks of fever, biliary vomiting, nausea and jaundice. Nasya (Nasal Medication)

Vasti (Enema using Medicated oil)
Vasti is the procedure where medicated oil is administered through the anal channel thereby helping the body expel any impaired doshas. It benefits people with neurological disorders or Vata dosha.
Rakta Moksha (Traditional ayurvedic method for blood purification)
Rakta Moksha is used to remove the excess pitta in the bloodstream by extracting a small amount of blood from the vein. Removal of even a slight amount of blood with excess toxins helps stimulate the spleen in generating anti-toxic substances and thereby improving the immune system.
